Project Overview

Northern Star Flooring Ltd was appointed to carry out specialist flooring works for ProAmpac, a leading global packaging manufacturer. As an expert contractor providing installations of resin flooring for factories, we were able to advise on a suitable solution.

The project involved upgrading 1,600m² of production space to provide a durable, hygienic, and easy-to-maintain surface capable of withstanding high traffic and heavy equipment usage.

Scope of Work

The flooring specification called for the installation of a self-levelling epoxy screed system, finished with a UVR sealer to enhance durability and chemical resistance. Our team worked closely with the client to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations within the production environment.

Key steps included:

• Surface preparation through mechanical grinding to ensure maximum adhesion.

• Installation of KDR self-levelling epoxy screed, delivering a smooth, high-strength surface.

• Application of UVR sealer, providing long-term resistance to UV light, abrasion, and chemical exposure.
